Luke had a seizure in the night, went back to HDU and is back on a ventilator. Totally sedated. He has fluid around his brain which they need to remove and then pump full of anti biotics. The next 48 hours are crucial.

Dad revealed his fear that Luke will be permanently disabled. After caring for him for 4 days on and off I can't imagine ever seeing Luke again. Not the Luke I've known for 27 years anyway.

What can I say that will help? Absolutely nothing will make a difference to how you feel at this time. Words seem so meaningless but I just want you to know that I am praying for Luke and sending him all the strength to fight this.

My God, that's horrible. Hopes, prayers, good thoughts, healing energy, and purrs (from Kitten) we send your way.

This is truly terrible.

Sorry Kell, just wanted to send lots of love to you and yours, It must be a difficult day for you, I hope Luke can pull through the next hurdle.

Kelly honey - I can't imagine what you're all going though and words aren't going to be enough to make you feel better. I'm thinking of you and praying so hard for Luke right now, bright, bright blessings. ((((((Kell & family)))))

For anyone reading this - will post on my own blog just in case. Kell's now back in Preston and she says that Luke had more surgery today and that the next 24 hours are critical. Am sure we're all keeping Lukey in the forefront of all our thoughts and prayers.

It's been a long time since I posted but I still come back and check in once and awhile and I just wanted to say how very sorry I am that your family is going through this. I've had a similar experience in my family and I know how devastating it can be. Thinking of you and Luke and all your family.
